Arum is a shrewd businessman. He's a pro. Schaefer is an amateur. He jacks up his numbers to kiss Floyd's ass. Then makes very little money out of it.

Pac vs Marquez 3 and 4 did high numbers. I was there in one of them. The stadium was packed with people like sardines. Arum, as usual, reported low numbers. Schaefer does the opposite.

Doesn't really matter what the #s are or were. As fans of the sport we should be happy with Ppvs whether they sell 2.5 or 500K. I love boxing and the boxers that are in the sport so who sells more ppvs than the next guy doesn't mean much.

All these numbers are mere speculations. But you can tell Mayweather's last fight flopped. It did way lower than 800K. I mean way lower. That traffic at NSB during and after the fight was like any normal day, which was very unusual for a fight which included the so-called PPV queen, plus Broner and Khan. JCC's last fight was way busier.

You don't need anyone to tell you the numbers.

Wtf is going on?? Guys pray for a PPV to fail then spend the entire time leading up to the fight bashing the fight or bad mouthing it. They spend time expressing how nobody should support it then when the PPV doesn't have supreme success they create threads further bad mouthing the PPV!

Praying that a fighter loses and praying that a PPV event isn't successful aren't the same things. I thought we were all fans of this sport? In what other sport do fans wish other fans of that sport wouldn't support the success of all teams involved?
