Garcia fights nothing like Provodnikov though. Provodnikov basically forces you to fight his fight. So unless this guy is a rigondeaux-like boxer he's probably getting folded sometime before the final bell.

Are you guys taking into account his size, height and reach advantage? He's also got a good jab and isn't a bad boxer. He does like to come inside some times tho. Might wanna stay outside vs Provodnikov.

Saw him fight once, he's solid and well schooled. I just don't see "it" in him to get passed a fighter like Ruslan. If he wants a chance at all he BETTER stay outside, but I feel Ruslan is going to come in with a pro active defense constantly stalking.

If Algeri is the type to put on a show when possible, this fight could be amazing even though its already a Provodnikov fight

But remember Provodnikov is prone to cuts. And Herrera arguably (officially) beat him.

Algieri isn't too bad. Not saying he'll win this but I wouldn't count him out.

We might have one of those Herrera-Garcia type fights.

Well Provodnikov can get outboxed and if Algieri is able to keep Provodnikov out of his zone where he is most effective he should have a lot of success.

Algieri should be able to do that early, but can he do it for the full 12 would be the real question.

Wow BoxRec has Algeri at 5'10".. thats 2" more than I thought but it may not help. I really believe Ruslan is a student of the game with Roach. I think if Ruslan fought Bradley again he'd give him just as tough a fight as he did last time.

Algeri is getting into a true championship war with a guy like Ruslan. Chris should just retire while he has his health and put his Masters Degree to work.

you are right about the cuts. bradley messed up his face and he isn't a puncher. but like badass316 said provo fights nothing like garcia and he won't stop coming foward. we can only wait. anyway, i suck at predicting so... nevermind

Provo got cut vs Alvarado. I don't think he was cut vs Bradley , I could be wrong .

I watched one fight from Algeri on YouTube, it was filmed on someones phone and they held it vertical so the black bars were on the sides...
From what I saw he won't be able to keep Ruslan off him, KO by the 3rd.

A stoppage is not a gimme either. Algieri is pretty freaking big if you ask me. If he can take Provodnikov's punches, Provo is gonna have a long night.

Algieri has plenty of fights on YouTube in good quality.
