Algieri should be able to do that early, but can he do it for the full 12 would be the real question.
Yep. Exactly, needs to do it for all 12…but this guy can. This IS a dangerous fight for BOTH of these fighters, Ruslan is a bad ass mofo but people are underestimating his opponent. Everybody is counting Algieri out but this guy is a Champion. Lives it , eats it, breathes it, believes it…he's never lost in any of his 39 professional fights….19-0 as a pro boxer. He might just be one of the only guys who has a bigger gas tank than Ruslan. I don't believe Algieri has ever lost a round the last few rounds of any of his fights, the deeper it goes the more he dominates. Classic Boxer vs. Brawler and both are good at what they do with great cardio, should def be an active fight. unbeaten Challenger, bad ass Champion.

Idk how well you know Chris but from looking at him I can tell its no easy fight for Provodnikov. Whether Chris lives up to it or not it's another story.

I'm definitely not counting him out.

I've only saw a few clips and he seems to be decent enough boxer. Besides that I don't know anything about him but he's undefeated and seems to have at least somewhat of a pulse- you always have to give credit and respect to the undefeated kid who steps up and fights a champ like Prov and risking his 0. And credit and respect to Prov for giving an undefeated/unknown and possibly dangerous fighter a chance to take your belt. Especially when not many others wanted the fight.

Similar to Nathan Cleverly (although he was the champ who voluntary defended. Respect) even if Algieri loses, he should still have gained the respect of the boxing community.

Looking forward to seeing Ruslan back in action! I really feel bad he couldn't get JMM, though

Great explanation. That's exactly why I love watching Ruslan fight. You find out what his opponent is truly made of when he wages that two-front warfare on them.

Chris Algieri: This is a Dangerous Fight For Provodnikov because he might commit what ray mancini did to that korean boxer those years back.
