There is some hesitation that Joseph Parker's camp has made the correct decision putting him in the ring against American journeyman Brian Minto next month.

The 39-year-old ended the career of Shane Cameron last year.

"Experience is a big advantage for me," he said. "I've been in with a lot of better opponents than Joseph Parker throughout the years and I guess July 5 we will see."

The Kiwi camp has already seen the destructive power of the man nicknamed "the beast" as his demolition job on Cameron in December was simply brutal.

I love when a fighter who's young and starting up isn't always padded along the way. Jus keep to the gameplan when going up against experience as old dogs have habits that are stubborn to break.

Parker by 8th round KO unless he gets a serious cut. That boy's chin is granite, but it looks like he can be cut easily.
