Coincidently Kovalev was recently involved in a power punching contest at a boxing club in Moscow.

Apparently he punched 510Kg (why they measured in Kg rather than Newtons is anyones guess). Competition winner Anton Uberga punched over 600Kg.

Is that guy uberga a boxer.

Haven't got a clue. It wasn't broken down into weight classes though so the guy could be a HW or perhaps a specialist who trains for just this kind of contest.

FWIW it does mention that the biggest guy there was a 142kg (310lb) beast who punched 447Kg and that the hardest hitting woman punched 200kg.

Thre's a Tube clip of them punching a heavy bag which musta been hooked up to some kinda of measuring equipment, though I'm not clear on the exact methodology or competition rules.

Mentioned this before^. Somone posted a photo a while back of the two of them with GGGs missus walking down the street looking for all the world like a group of average holidaymakers. You'd have to pity the locals who thought it might be a good idea to have a little fun with the 'tourists'.
