Turned out to be a decent fight. Just a difference in class. The 40 year old still has a lot left in the tank.

This was a "skill vs. will" type of match-up, and Alvarado didn't show up with nearly enough determination. Pretty disappointing.

Like I said JMM dominated and won this fight. Not sure how people thought Alvarado would win. If he didn't have the size advantage he gets Ko'ed and JMM shows he is still a warrior.

I thought Alvrado would let his hands go. Marquez is susceptible to those flash knockdowns. If Mike would have exchanged more, he might have had a chance by racking up points.


... OR he'd have just got KTFO faster.

Can't believe I thought this guy had a chance IDKSAB!. Absolute **** and despite two knockdowns that fight bored me senseless.

I'd rather watch Ishe Smith than Avocado who is stuck in an identity crisis. The guy was like a cat sh(tting razorblades. One time he opened up he scores a knockdown then he let him off the hook and spent the remainder of the fight shuffling around. No urgency, nothing. Is the guy on drugs or something?
