Sorry, I should be careful with you sensitive Floyd fans. That posters is a Floyd fan and just trying to point out the obvious. Floyd vs Cotto 1 happened 4-5 years to late. Now, he may fight him again if Cotto beats Martinez. But I'm sure that you guys would defend that.

Only Floyd fans always reject seeing a great fight. Manny vs Marquez 4 was epic! Manny vs Bradley 2 was awesome. So if Floyd keeps on saying "I'm not interested then what other options are there? Look at Floyd, he almost cherry picked himself to a loss the other day. Maidana made the fight way better than Floyd and the rest of us thought it would be.

Just like the CW .... just be careful, as karma is a Biatccch! Now you hypocrites are not bringing the CWs up as much because your Floyd is OK with them.

I'm not looking forward to Pac-Marquez V, this fight will be a draw. I'll definitely be looking forward to Pac-Marquez VI, Pac-Marquez VII, Pac-Marquez VIII, and Pac-Marquez IX though.

Of course he wants that fight. Makes too much financial sense, especially now that he has the Chinese connection. I read that the Venetian gave him $8 million as a site fee for the Brandon freakin Rios. I would imagine Arum would ask for $12-$15 mil and maybe even a slice of the Casino's earnings from that weekend. The Pac-Rios gate was $8 mil+, Historically the Pac-Marquez saga has brought in some of the highest live gate #s in Nevada History. So I would assume it'd be in the $10 mil+ range.

The US PPV #s would most likely be down some, just how it goes Historically with International broadcasts. Pac-Marquez III+IV both did over 1 mil buys, so I'd expect this one to be in the 850K-1 mil range. But the new wrinkle is that Top Rank is planning on doing PPV in China. Even if a miniscule percentage of the population buys the card at a low price, say like $5 (and I'm sure Zou will be a co-headliner ) it could be huge monetarily.

I honestly think all in all this will be a monster financially the way Arum has planned it out. Plus, the fights between the two never disappoint so everyone will tune in, even the ones complaining about the matchup.

Honestly, I think win or lose, Marquez is next for Manny. But obviously an impressive win against Alvarado makes the matchup more intriguing. But either way, TR will offer Marquez a guarantee in the $10-13 million range plus a share of the US + new Chinese PPV. No way he can turn that down.

Only Pac fanatics want to see a Pac Marquez 5. Be honest with yourself, does a KO need a rematch? 3 very close matches and then finally a decisive victory, just let it be man...

How could pacquiao and Chavez jr. Both be getting around 6 mil for a fight, PAC was guaranteed 20 against Bradley and got 6 the night of, but now seems like he won't get much more as a result of poor PPV NUMBERS ?

Assuming Chavez/GGG was on PPV I would argue it still doesn't come close to the 800k that Bradley and PAC did and I'm sure GGG is looking to get paid too ... How could PAC/Bradley be a disappointment considering what they both got paid and Chavez vs GGG be a viable/profitable option ?

as a pac fan, i want this. he deserves a chance for revenge after all the rematches he gave jmm. plus everyone knows he was whoopping jmm's ass til the bionic punch for hell happened.

i only really wanna see pac fight jmm and floyd. those are the only 2 fights that he needs to win convincingly to help him climb the ATG list some more.

the jmm ktfo put a dent on pac's legacy, beating either one convincingly will pretty much erase that. and beating both will just make him THE fighter of his generation and at least top 5-10.
