I am rooting for Alvarado with all my might. Don´t want to see another Pac vs Marquez.

I am pretty sure he does, that is the biggest money fight he can make and I don't think any fights he can do would be close anymore with the way the Bradley fights went (is there really any doubt who the better man is).

Even if Alvarado wins what would stop Arum from making Manny-JMM V, he would just have to pay JMM less which actually benefits him.

i know Arum really loves that site fee he gets in Macau but holding a PAC-JMM fight there is a real disservice for their rivalry

part of the tension in that rivalry is the Las Vegas crowd when its PAC fans and Mexican fans bringing that electricity

Macau would probably pay big to host that rivalry fight though, hosting Manny-Rios is big but hosting a Manny-JMM fight is about as big as it gets.

I do feel you though, because how many real fans would be there.

Have the fight in Mexico City. Have Vargas on the undercard. If they publicize it a lot they can get over 1.5 buys super easy. Then again, I'm not a promoter. What did the IV get in ppv buys?

one of boxing's historic rivalries being played out in front of a bunch of millionaires than couldn't tell the difference between a spitbucket and a jab...kinda sad really
