If true,Thats pretty bad for floyd and showtime. This shows manny
and floyd are about the same in drawing power. This may also force
showtime to pressure floyd to fight martinez-cotto winner.

a rematch is the way too go if you are floyd. the rematch is a lock too do over a million buys now that the world saw maidana have his moments in the fight.

and martinez. especially if he beats cotto

not by much doe and if you factored in the stack undercards (khan, broner, etc…) plus more money was spent for the promotions... it safe to say that pac’s ppv is way more profitable.

Also don’t forget majority of fans think Chino won the fight!

I think the worst part of it is, IF the numbers are official and Showtime took a loss this PPV.. look at what they paid the undercard Sure he probably beat Pac-Brad 2 by ~100,000 but nobody on Pac's undercard was even paid 100 grand if I remember correctly.

Maidana wasn't even the second highest purse

You can actually argue that he did worse given the small disparity in buys and the amount of money they spent on the undercard.

Those are good numbers but didn't Showtime need to do 1.5 million to break even?

When you factor in the undercard with Khan and Broner fighting that's actually not as good a number.

I don't understand Bob; at least put a good co feature. I mean Beltran isn't exactly a draw. Pac Bradley could've done at least 900k with a decent undercard.
