Now its either a mil or bust.
At the end of the day, I could care less either way. Its not going in my pocket. I just want to see good fights. F the numbers

The fans were not happy and stayed away this time.
I understand that you have different standards for Mayweather than you do Pacquiao, but Jesus Christ.

To think Floyd thought he would get 38 million on the back end, what a muppet, he gets nothing.
Got to feel for Maidana though only taking 1.5 million

In and of itself, 800k buys is huge. I think the difference here is Espinoza's comments that Showtime need 1.5m averages to justify Floyd's guarantee.
Taking that deal by itself, Showtime have taken a bath. I'm sure Espinoza would justify it by saying it was a pre-condition for an exclusive relationship with Haymon, important to have a flagship fighter etc etc.
It is interesting to see Floyd and Manny's numbers converge like this though. Pacquiao's drawing power hasn't been nearly as affected by the knockout as you might have thought.
