That's not Stivern's game. Stiverne is a powerful counter-puncher who looks for openings and an opponent can tire trying to open up on him and he takes advantage of those openings. He is the opposite of Tyson and uses his own effective style.

What people and Wilder fail to realize is the man has not seen enuff different looks, Stivern sets you up, Wilder will be perfect because he is so used to having his opponents hurt, as soon as he thinks stivern is hurt he will jump on him and get caught - this come from experience - look out for the setup, Stivern will KO him
You've been on a roll with good posts today. Respect.

LOL Did this guy seriously apply the Charlie Z situation to a professional, championship fight analysis? This guy's rep power should be lowered. Unless he responds to my post telling me he was trolling...

I would say this is on the top 10 dumbest Boxingscene.com posts of all time list...

So Charlie Z trolling on Wilder talking about his mom and daughter and saying he was gonna kill Wilder isn't low?!
Wilder could've killed that kid yet he just toyed with him to teach him a lesson but with all that you still say Wilder is the low one?!

To be honest though...Wilder was KOed as an amateur but that's because his opponent had on head gear to take his power...he had on headgear as well...but Wilder only needs to land once to KO anyone. A lot of people will be misguided by that fight. He has the most amazing power I've seen from an up-and-coming fighter ever. Would love to see him fight someone with a granite chin..not sure who that would be because the division is such a joke...

He's the only Heavyweight who excites me at the moment...and if he can KO Stiverne...that would make a fight with Wlad huge...HBO would pick the fight up quickly.

Wilder took it easy on Zelenoff lol. Zelenoff is a big mouth pos, and Wilder could have probably killed him with one clean shot. But Wilder needs to ignore an idiot like that and focus on bigger and better things.

The style he used fighting Arreola will not work on good, tall rangy fighters like Wlad and Wilder. There's no universal rule that says a fighter must be limited to one particaular style. Great fighters can use different styles and Stivern is still a work in process. Floyd Mayweather can fight going forwards or going backwards, he can box or take the agressive role, those kinds of intangibles is what makes a fighter great. Stivern has the potential to be great and I believe he has the ability to alternate between styles.

zelenoff has mental problems. that is well known in the boxing world. the fact that wilder stooped down to that level is quite pathetic from a future heavyweight champ.

i dont want a future heavyweight champ fighting every internet troll that says something bad about him. especially one that is known as having mental problems.

wilder should have known better. if he didnt know zelenoff had mental problems he should have known. if somebody is coming at you and you challenged him to a fight, chances are he would've done his research and if he did he would have known this kid has problems.

its unbecoming of a potential heavyweight champ to what wilder did.
