The current Maidana is different in brute force and stamina. His style is the same though and made for Manny. Those looping shots will have a different look against a quick southpaw. Interesting match up, Manny by close decision.

You don't seem to understand what Marquez did to set up that punch. Maidana doesn't have that level of technique. Anyone can swing their arm, timing it to your opponent's movement is the trick.

so marquez aka hulkquez was on roids and his powers were off the charts in that fight but now it was all technique?

pacquiao isn't known for his air tight defense. maidana is a power puncher that finds ways to land his power punches on fools. you are criminally underrating his craft while overrating pacquiao's. which simply isn't surprising.

I don't see how tbh. He'll make it a rough fight, no doubt, but I don't think he'll be able to take the incoming fire for 12 rounds.

I'm not going to get pulled off topic with that ****** sht. As I've stated, Marquez's counter punching is entirely different than Maidana's pressure fighting. Two different worlds. All boxers throw the same handful of punches, it's the application that differentiates them.

Pac's speed would mind**** chino. Early rounds would be very dangerous for pac but once maidana slows down it's going to be target practice for pac.

Maidana is a sparring partner for Pac Man or Mayweather. Maidana did his best and got in some good shots as Mayweather tried to manufacture some excitement and tried to avoid Maidanas head. Maidana is a championship level challenger but he's not de Latoya, canelo, sugar Shane, corrales, margarito, forest. cotto, Marquez, castillo,

Maidana = more guerro, gatti, manfredo, Corley, rios.

Difficult to call I think, the machine PAC used to be would kill maidana. But can he keep up the workrate against this maidana at this point in his career? They'll be sure to be going at pacs body early, not to mention maidana has the power to ko PAC
                      Be great to watch though...

I wouldn't wanna see Thurman or porter vs PAC, at this stage I think PAC shouldn't be taking on upcoming youngsters
