JMM was super strong when he knocked out PAC. His strength and conditioning did wonders for him in his camp vs PAC. When PAC got KD the first time in that find his facial expression says it all, he was surprised and I'm pretty sure PACs team were not ready for that kind of power from Marquez in that night. It was a great six rounds though. After the first KD PAC got he was really bringing it. Messed up JMMs face until the perfectly timed right at the end of the 6th. I hope their next fight if it happens is as exciting.

The Maidana that beat floyd Saturday night troubles ANYBODY. I don't know if he can keep up with Pacman's combined speed and attack BUtT if he catches Pac flush WITHOUT sparring gloves... it could drastically change the fight.

If he uses the sparring gloves then it's a whole different story.

It's a good matchup (one we'll never see, of course). I think Maidana eats straight lefts all night long though... Both have good chins. Manny isn't afraid to get into a war and has more power than Floyd. Maidana's style is much more awkward than Rios so I don't think you can substitute one for the other and make an accurate prediction.

I think Pac stops him ultimately though, way too much power and speed. I think the combination would make Maidana more careful than he was against Floyd too. Maidana wasn't scared at all of Floyd's power.

It would be a rios/margarito type fight. The Robert Garcia school of boxing is never gonna get a win over manny with that come forward brawler style. Frankly Mayweathers style was always best against other boxer-punchers, not rough guys like Maidana. Pac on the other hand has always beat the **** out of brawlers.

Pacquio would beat Maidana even easier than Mayweather beat him. All of the head butting, rabbit punching and low blows don't work against a fighter with great footwork or a competent referee. Which PACman would bring. Plus PAC man punches with full force. If mayweather decides to rematch Maidana and use lateral movement instead of laying on the ropes for Gatti fans mayweather would win every round. Mayweather and PAC man is the real fight. If PAC is on roids it's a toss up. Mayweather may or may not be able to deal with someone that can buzz you with even grazing shots like PAC can do when he's on roids. If pac's clean mayweather will beat PAC as easily as mayweather beat Marquez. Who just knocked PAC man out cold.

I really get sick of fighters getting credit for being better fighters than they are when they are just really dirty b fighters like Maidana and hatton. Or excellent cheaters like margarito and PAC man. Or both like Hopkins. I am not saying that bhop, margarito, PAC aren't great fighters. It's just that they are elevated even beyond there ability by the public for cheating.
