I'd pick Stiverne to stop Wilder.

Hmmm. Got to think about this one. Fighters like Wilder are a counter puncher like Stiverne's dream. But the size and reach difference is huge and might be too much for Stiverne to overcome.

Never faced adversity, never been clocked by a solid puncher, etc....

Wilder looks like an unknown quantity to me. I've grown to like the kid, he has a certain charisma that HW champs should have. But Stiverne is the real deal, he will counter Deontay like no-one has before and it's lights out if that right hand lands (which it will).

What if Stiverne takes his best punch?? At some point Wilder will face a guy that won't go down when he lands a good shot. Stiverne is a tough dude he can box and he can ****.

Only time I've seen Wilder go wild is when he hurts his opponent. Other than that he's a simple 1-2 fighter from a very long range. How's Stiverne gonna counter that? Especially laying on the ropes.

If I'm Wilder and watched the fight then I know the guy just sits back waiting for one shot. I'd be sniping him out all night with 1-2's.

stiverne is bigger then deontay..so just based on e=mc2 deontay is going to have to put out more energy then stiverne to knock him out. what if stiverne is clever enough to weather the early barrages?

deontay must learn defense! stiverne may be able to negate much of deontay's force by bending at the waist!

Are people forgetting the Stiverne was KO1 by a guy with 37% KO?

If Stiverne lays like that against the ropes when he faces Wilder he will get put right to sleep. Considering Wilder's reach he will have to fight a totally different kind of fight to come out on top.

Aside from Liakhovic, I don't recall Deontay KOing anyone with pedigree? (obviously not counting Malik's dive).

He may indeed be a murderous puncher but we gotta see it on someone real first before we can pick him based on this super-human punching power.
