  • There is great hype out here for this fight. It's gonna be interesting if the heavyweights can sell.

    • I can't believe Wilder is a favorite despite being completely unproven.

It shows how gullible boxing fans are.

It's absolutely crazy. This fight is going to get very ugly for Deontay.

Wilder has raw talent, but his lack of experience shows this fight. Stevirne by mid round stoppage. Timing beats speed, BS catches DW with a counter and hurts him.
I wonder if Haymon has any cut on Stiverne. Stiverne has fought Arreola twice and he's a Haymon fighter as well. Just wondering.

I don't know, Don King usually doesn't like sharing.
But Al seems like a guy who covers all bases. Long as King gets a cut he might go along.

            • Bermane's got this. I'm putting money on a KO.

Only thing Wilder has is that right hand.

I'm thinking that Wilder will give him respect....maybe too much. If Wilder is too tentative then Stiverne will take advantage of that.

My gut tells me Stiverne is gonna catch Wilder with a huge counter punch and then follow up with a barrage of KO punches.

Let's be realistic: Wilder has not faced anyone that has given him an ounce of resistance. He's used to having an easy night and having his way. Against Stiverne he gonna be tested, he is gonna have to box and set up his punches with care. If he's wild, he'll be countered. If he's too tentative, he'll be countered. Wilder needs to smart but can't abandon his aggressive nature.

                  What speed difference?

There's no video of it, but he was dropped by Sconiers, got up on wobbly legs, and was saved by the bell according to reports. He came back and stopped Sconiers.

He's also been stopped in the amateurs.

So he's experienced resistance and he's had bad nights in the ring, but all the lights are shining now. He needs to put it down in an impressive way, otherwise it's gonna be hard to come back from bad KO loss.

this is Stiverne vs David Price in the am's

I imagine the fight will play out in a very similar fashion, except Wilder will be straight knocked out with one of Stiverne's counter rights.

Height and Length are not a problem when the fighter with those assets doesn't know how to use them.

Stiverne by KO rds 4 through 6.
