Stiverne won't lay on the ropes in this one. His gameplan will be to come forward and push wilder back, get inside and connect with the right hand on wilders chin
I think Stiverne clocks him. Wilder isn't ready for this.
I wouldn't be upset if I'm wrong. That'd be a huge win for Wilder and would completely legitimize him. Heavyweight could certainly use another legit fighter.
Everybody keeps complaining about "bums" but they fail to even find out about the guy. Almost no amateur background, went to the olympics and won a bronze medal. Hes basically learning how to fight on the fly. They tried to get him fights with almost every type of style that they could find. Which is actually not a bad idea because thats what the amateurs are for and since he doesn't have a great amateur pedigree its not a bad idea by his trainers. He has an eraser of a right hand. A game changer. Hes very tall, athletic, great work ethic, a quick learner and has the drive and determination of a champion. I hope great things come from him cuz the only reason he started fighting was cuz his daughter was born with a disability.
He's had an eraser of a right hand against bums. It's hard to know how hard he really punches. It looks legit but this fight will prove what his power's really like.
His learning to fight on the fly is why I don't think he wins this fight. He doesn't know how to fight. He's going to be screwed when that right hand isn't taking Stiverne out right away and he's eating huge counter shots, because he doesn't know how to defend himself or properly set up his right hand against someone worth a damn.
Like I said in my first post, I wouldn't be angry if I'm wrong.

I think Wilder's power is legitimate. Regardless of the competition it's not easy to knock every opponent out or stop them or else everybody would be doing it.
My question is his chin and ability to adapt which he has not proven. I have to pick Stiverne in this fight. He seems much more polished and proven.

I get what you guys are saying; but I really do think Wilder is packing some fine China.
It's going to be all over the ring on January 17th.
