I suppose it's all relative. If Cotto and Martinez are of Guarantees of 3 million or so and it gets 500k, that's really good, if Pac or Floyd are guaranteed 20-30 million and it gets 800k or so buyers, even though that's a lot more money produced there's a smaller profit margin. I don't see how these showtime Mayweather fights are making them any money if he, as he claimed, makes 35 million up front and another 30 after the ppv bonus, because that's just about every penny the ppv generates on one guy, without the split for the ppv carriers, under card fighters, advertising etc.
