Anyways I thought Arreola was winning 3-2 at the time of the stoppage. He looked gassed by the 6th round though. I don't remember what round it was, but Arreola hit Stiverne with a huge shot that they kept showing on replay, and I think seeing Stiverne take it like nothing took Arreola's soul. And it was pretty ridiculous how the ref bought Arreola an extra 5 seconds both times he got knocked down. That's that Al Haymon power right there. Funny because as I was walking up to the Galen Center I seen one of the Watson twins go up to a car and the window rolled down and it was Al Haymon in there, haha.

I was at the Dodgers game before the fight. Dodgers beat them b**ch a$$ Giants! Then Arreola f**ked up the perfect day.
I had the same impression re Arreola's lack of punching power. He simply lacked the firepower to hurt Stiverne and that made all the difference. Both were there to be hit and i think Arreola probably outlanded Stiverne.

He already said he was broke in '11, had to borrow money for Christmas that year. Said he bought too much crapola... cars, ***elry, etc. So no, his ignorance doesn't just stop in the ring.

Arreola severely lacks power it was all to evident and when he got hit with that CRUISE MISSILE he was out on his feet ....He should RETIRE he is 33 yrs old he takes a lot of punishment with his march forward style he has LOST EVERY ATTEMPT at the title its a shame but its for the BEST wouldnt like to see him punch drunk as for David Haye YES he is VERY ACCURATE he has power aswell and speed but until we know if he will ever compete again he isnt relevant ....Bermaine does have power !!!

Actually Stiverne never really talks trash and what makes him ****** is that your code for black you ****ing racist piece of ****. Stiverne is actually a really quiet guy and he doesn't ever act ignorant or so dumb **** so you need to STFU. He was annoyed how everybody was literally overlooking him again after he already demolished Chris in the first fight and everybody was making excuses as to Chris being out of shape that's why he was mad. So once again ****** STFU.

Chris himself said it was the same punch as last time that got him this time.

Boxing is for fans who like to see two men beat the living sh.t out of each other. Trash talking goes with the territory.
Yeah man I agree the guy who wrote the original post is a ****ing idiot. This aint a tickling contest and a smiling contest dudes are coming to throw punches and hurt each other if they want to talk a little bit of trash to build up the fight then so be it and neither said anything that was out of line or out of bounds. That guy is just mad that his guy got KO'ed.

Great fight! Cong**** to the new champ and cong**** to his native land of Haiti they will be rejoicing this for a while.

As for the fight. A lot are saying that Arreola was up at the point of stoppage, I however didn't see it that way. He may have had the nod on points by a shave but Stiverne I feel had the fight going exactly how he wanted and seemed to be controlling what was happening the whole time. You could see the game plan unfolding as time passed and yes Arreolla was more active and landing more BUT that was indeed Stiverne's game plan. He neglected to throw a counter right over arreola's lazy jab all night and waited until he had primed him for a hurting. Instead of hurting him early and letting him tighten up and fight more cautious, he let Arreola get gun happy and throw a lot, feeling like he was accomplishing something.

You could see points where Bermaine hurt Arreola but didn't jump on him. He instead taunted him and told him to come on, allowing him to recover. That was also part of his plan, and he actually said that he was going to do just that in the last pre fight press conference. So Arreola thought he was doing well but But Stiverne had a different view of that picture, he saw it as him letting Arreola get comfy so that he could crack him. But he did it at a point in the fight where Chris didn't have his full legs under him anymore and half a gas tank as he was visibly slowing down from the clean shots Bermaine was landing at a slow but very steady pace. He slowly broke him down. Licked the proverbial tootsie pop till he was content than bit into the chocolate centre.

Great fight, great strategy, and even greater execution. Dieing to see him and Wilder but even more so, I want to see a tall power puncher like Wilder in against Klit.

Sure, call him ******, he could have hold for the rest of the round and just jabbed, hugged, and cruised the remainder of the fight , he was winning the fight but instead of doing a Mayweather fiasco, he fought and got caught.
Stiverne had no heart? He did have that, plus an actual working boxing brain which he used to full advantage. Forget the roly poly club fighter Arreola. Bring on Stiverne/Wilder. We'll find out some REAL truth after those 2 go at it.

How ****** do you sound. Heart got him Knocked out dumbass. Stiverne was smart enough to know which ALL boxers with at least a slight IQ know is to hold until you regain your bearings if you get hit with a good shot. That is common sense only idiots try to punch through it and that is why they end up looking at the lights and wondering what happened later. You really don't know anything about boxing and you should just shut up from here on out that was one of the dumbest things I have ever heard.

You are such an idiot that I should not waste energy in replying to your post. The only reason that I am replying, is to let you know that you are a bias idiot who is so idiotic that you don't even know that you are an idiot.
