i'd really rather watch Garcia fight someone else

that would be 2 L's in a row if he fought Floyd in September.

I would much rather see these young boxers improve on their skills and actually progress instead of taking a step back.

Floyd just went toe to toe with Maidana

I am a fan of Garcia, but what chance does he stand, especially since he hasn't fought anyone at 147

Its going to be very hard to beat Floyd without a jab, near impossible

Garcia needs to fight someone like Devon at 147, get a win under his belt and experience at the weight

Agree with the person who said it is an easy fight. Do. not. want.

Floyd would pick Danny apart. This would literally be "easy work"

This is what I'm afraid of, a Garcia clash in September, having said that I'm not the biggest supporter for a Maidana rematch but then again, where can Floyd go? Showtime need him to continuously make big bucks for them or their investment flops and flops big time. Having said that, they have limited opponents, so a Maidana or Garcia clash is the most likely come September.

Garcia is not the type of fighter who can make Floyd work hard and cause him problems but he is a bit of a name these days and I really would like to see him grow into the 147 division before he inevitably faces off against Mayweather. Have Garcia in with someone like Alexander/Thurman/Porter and we'll see how he handles the bigger division. I personally believe he beats all 3.

Alexander maybe, Porter at a stretch, but not Thurman...because Thurman can move and Garcia can't handle movement, let alone a guy moving throwing bombs.

Not happening. He's staying at 140 and I'm sure haymon and co won't make him lose his 0 to Floyd. Losing To Floyd really doesn't help your career

I really don't want to see it. Danny doesn't have the style to make it competitive IMO

It's gonna be the same fight, with Mayweather being sharper offensively.
