    To Floyd skeptics

Were you at all surprised with Mayweather's toughness in the Maidana fight? Anyone that thought that Floyd being in a dog fight would break him or make crack, did you find yourself proven wrong? Because that fight was as dirty as they come and Floyd took all of it reasonably well.

No, I've never seen Floyd hurt to the body and don't think I ever will. No point hitting him in the ribs unless you're doing it to set up a head shot. He was taking shots to the side of the head with pillows so not exactly flush to the face so it wasn't as bad as you think.

Much like they were proven wrong after Floyd fought Cotto by saying Floyd was shot and finally ripe for the picking, and his legs were gone, and he's old, and his dad is ugly, and his head movement is not there, and he ain't got it no more, etc., they were proven wrong yet again after the Maidana fight but now its time to blame his success on Maidana not being allowed to use MMA gloves.

Floyd continues to son those kids and rack up wins. They cant believe it. They're still shocked from last Saturday.

Maybe so, but it also proved that he wants to have all advantages going in to the fight even against 12-1 odd opponent. He sure wants to protect that "0". And his health.

He's tougher than Adrien Broner. I really thought Broner had a better chin and better toughness than Mayweather. Props to Mayweather, but I would like to see him take on Maidana without the sparring gloves. That was some bull ****.

he tough everyone knew that, but him crying to the ref every chance and hugging maidana to death refusing to letgo, holding on the ropes in teh 12 for dear life (weeks had to rip his grip from the rope) that shocked me. I thought Mayweather was more mentally tough then that.
