A guy who's half retired and wants to do a catchweight, one of two things could happen. He's either gonna quit or perform like ****.

I am hoping its at 168 but I reckon Kessler could probably make 165 no problem. I've always been under the impression he isn't a naturally big guy at all & like Froch walks around just a few lbs above the limit.

I could be wrong & do hope its at 168 but I'd personally be okay with 165 & don't feel he'd be drained but I guess there is no sure fire way of knowing until he is in the ring.

@bojangles weren't you one of the people complaining about Ward draining Dawson?

Kessler would knock Golovkin and Geale out. Triple G should stay at 160.

Sorry but I'm not a fan of an older fighter cutting weight. When they get older they tend to go up not down and we all know why.

If Golovkin/Kessler is made at 160, I'll complain. That's not what I read.

You're saying you'd rather see Golovkin fight Mora or Geale? Come on, man.

I want Golovkin to fight Murray or Martinez. Unfortunately those fights are not possible. He has to fight SOMEONE, right? Everyone discredits Golovkins opponents, but you cannot dismiss Kessler on his future résumé. Even at this point, it's a good win.

Geale would be OKAY and the next best MW not named Murday or Maryinez, but lets be honest.... If Golovkin blasts out Geale, the same thing that happened pre and post fight with Macklin will happen wit Geale. Everyone who called for that fight because they wanted Golovkin in there with "a top MW" with some what of a pulse, will call him a bum afterward.

It's a shame JCC JR just ducked Golovkin and ran away from a career pay day tho SMH

Not keen if it's at a catchweight.

2007 Kessler would beat Golovkin, this one today I don't think has the mental toughness or either physicality to deal with the beast at this moment, especially if he moves down in weight.

I agree, Golovkin should stay at 160 and clean out. But options are running slim and time is ticking.... A Martinez fight (IF possible) wouldn't even happen til 2015. Who can he fight?

I don't think Kessler KOs Golovkin, though. But I don't know how well GGG could make the transition to 168. He's a small dude.

In all honestly, if Golovkin had the same mindset as some other fighters, he would be fighting at 154...... And would be the undisputed King until he retires and surely the GOAT. IMO
