I love that scripture. Thank you for posting.
I have a question though. Did you post that because you feel I said lies in my post? If I am Mis informed on any thing I posted then I encourage you to set the facts straight.

Floyd wouldn't travel to the champ at 140 and Arum kept Cotto away from Mayweather until he was ready (then Floyd retired).Great post
In all fairness when Floyd was at lightweight he was calling out the bigger known Mosley and de la Hoya and they turned their nose up at him. Also we all remember Floyd's run at 140 where Hatton and Cotto are on record saying they didn't want to fight Floyd. I remember when Mosley had a toothache and went on a family vacation and said he didn't want to fight Floyd. I mean there are fights I would have liked to see Floyd make but knock his resume because of timing and misfortune isn't fair. If one is objective and unbiased they can easily see why Floyd didn't fight any of the Top rank fighters after he left top rank. Arum was pissed because he got outsmarted by Haymon and Floyd went on to break the ppv record and control his career. Arum went on a major smear campaign after Floyd left him and created all these boogy men and built up their ferocity to destroy Floyd's image and reputation. In April 2006 Arum is quoted saying Mayweather is the greatest fighter of all time then a year later Mayweather is afraid of margarito, Cotto and PAC. Arum never mentioned any of those guys as Floyd opponents that Floyd couldn't beat until Arum couldn't make any more money off of Floyd. And I blame both Manny and Floyd for their fight not happening.

Hattons dad didn't want the fight after they seen what Floyd did to Gatti. He and Cotto were In Attendance that night and witnessed something they clearly wanted no part of and they were both champions. Floyd wanted those fights and arum kept Cotto safe and hattons dad kept his son safe from Floyd. When Floyd retired Cotto was barely entering the division, why would Floyd retire because of a guy he already was willing to fight??Comment

Great post!! These people just can't appreciate greatness though. They feel that is their job as "boxing experts" to try and make Floyd Mayweather Jr the lesser. The problem is that Floyd has NEVER lost , people don't like that , they like to see them win and then lose so they can feel better.Great post

At the end of the day the fact will always remain there , Floyd Mayweather Jr has done nothing but DOMINATE the sport since he became a pro. He didn't become good overnight , it's always been that way from his first pro fight to his 46 fight. 17 years of hard work , dedication and most importantly CONSINTENCY.

17 years as and undefeated dominant champion and still beating younger fighters and younger champions. What he has done in the sport is unprecedented. I mean he's 37 and is lineal champion in 2 weight classes. Hate it or love it, it's reality.Great post!! These people just can't appreciate greatness though. At 147 it all depends on Mayweather.
He is 38 and it's still hard to say how much he's declined, but let's not act as if he is prime.
He is on the verge of retirement and many guys can potentially give him problems, it depends on how much he's left in the tank.
Let's be real, Maidana is not that good. If something Floyd had a sub par performance and his outpot in particulat was disappointing.
When he threw he landed at more than 50% and apart from a few uppercuts and jabs to the body he was head hunting.
Also I don't understand all this 'credit' that Maidana supposedly deserves. I can't remember somebody committing so many blatant fouls since Tony Galento.
And yes, clinching and pushing are fouls, but there is a difference between a clinch and biting your opponent's ear off, or throwing a knee.
I remember people complaining about Garcia's low blows , but nobody criticizes Maidana for the same reason, plus the rabbit punches and the knee?.
Khan and Alexander did beat him and would beat him again.
Bradley, Pacman and Porter would beat him as well imo and I'd give Robert Guerrero and Thurman good chances.Comment
