Maidana beat him already so to mention another one who would beat him again... I'd have to go with Pacquiao. He definitely won't be able to deal with all the movement and angles. Maidana only had to use a BIT of both to defeat him.
Who would beat Mayweather ?

Lara doesn't have the dimensions to do it, variety in his attack or the workrate.People are obsessed with southpaws defeating Mayweather, I just don't get it. Right handed fighters land easier on him than south paws, plus he has dominated every southpaw he's fought. No guy who got knocked down and beat up by Angulo is the guy to defeat mayweather. And I appreciate Lara's skills but this crowning a guy before he beats anyone of note needs to stop. Mayweather has faced all styles but none of these guys have faced Mayweather's style. It's the same story, rinse and repeat.

At 37 years old, there are quite a few who have a serious chance at beating Floyd. Shawn Porter and Timothy Bradley are a serious threat. Many have their doubts about Bradley because of his last performance against Manny. But the reality is, Floyd does not present the same threat as Manny. You have to seriously worry about getting KO'd with Manny because of his combination of speed, power, and akwardness. Floyd doesn't present that problem and Tim's approach would be much different. Porter has skill and a lot of ability and is very confident right now, plus he has youth on his side. Floyd will never fight him. But guys like Khan and Lara will always be a more serious threat to Floyd than the slower flat footed guys he has been facing lately. Martinez and Pacquiao are major threats as well because of their athletic ability and championship experience. Floyd has ****** it in fans head that he is the best ever. His dominant performances has pretty much supported that. But once his resume in closely analyzed, you will have a better understanding why he's been so dominant. He has never faced a fighter from the same pedigree as himself with championship experience. By the time he faced Mosley and De La Hoya, they were way past it. Oscar still managed to lose by a split decision and Mosley had him hurt worst than ever before in his career. I'm not denying his greatness and accomplishments, but he has been well managed over the last 7 years. He has not fought the style of opponent that will exploit the fact that he is older and has slowed down. Maidana has just opened the door. If Floyd is not careful of his choosing of his last 3 opponents, he will not retire undefeated.Comment

Lara doesn't have the tools to beat Mayweather, he doesn't apply enough pressure, his work rate and punch output is too low. The judges will never give him a decision unless he somehow managed to shut Mayweather out and score some knockdowns.
If I were to pick three guys who can beat Mayweather on any given night it would be Maidana, Pacquiao and Porter.
Maidana has already proven what he's capable of doing to Mayweather with sparring gloves. I'm one of the many who think he would have beaten Mayweather had he been wearing his own gloves.
Pacquiao is a stylistic nightmare for Mayweather, if you were to genetically engineer a fighter to beat him it would be Pacquiao. Aside from the laundry list of reasons, he won't be overwhelmed by the magnitude of the event. If anything, he will be just as comfortable as Mayweather inside that ring.
Shawn Porter, he's the only one that I believe would shut Mayweathers lights out. The disregard he has for his opponents offense mixed with the power and precision at close range, he does this better than anyone in the division. He would be on Mayweather from the jump like Maidana in the first round, except with better technique.Comment

Lara has beaten Paul Williams. That's as good if not better than anyone on Floyd's record. In fact, Paul Williams best win is better than Floyd's. Not only that, but Williams beat prime Margarito, who Floyd avoided at all costs. Moreover, Lara beat Trout who Canelo beat to get a Floyd fight.People are obsessed with southpaws defeating Mayweather, I just don't get it. Floyd may have dominated the southpaws he's faced, but he's fought southpaws who at best can be described as 'fairly good' (Judah, Guerrero, Ortiz, etc.). All the better southpaws he's ducked (Williams, Pacquiao, and Martinez, and I'm sure Lara will be added to that list before long).Comment

In all fairness when Floyd was at lightweight he was calling out the bigger known Mosley and de la Hoya and they turned their nose up at him. Also we all remember Floyd's run at 140 where Hatton and Cotto are on record saying they didn't want to fight Floyd. I remember when Mosley had a toothache and went on a family vacation and said he didn't want to fight Floyd. I mean there are fights I would have liked to see Floyd make but knock his resume because of timing and misfortune isn't fair. If one is objective and unbiased they can easily see why Floyd didn't fight any of the Top rank fighters after he left top rank. Arum was pissed because he got outsmarted by Haymon and Floyd went on to break the ppv record and control his career. Arum went on a major smear campaign after Floyd left him and created all these boogy men and built up their ferocity to destroy Floyd's image and reputation. In April 2006 Arum is quoted saying Mayweather is the greatest fighter of all time then a year later Mayweather is afraid of margarito, Cotto and PAC. Arum never mentioned any of those guys as Floyd opponents that Floyd couldn't beat until Arum couldn't make any more money off of Floyd. And I blame both Manny and Floyd for their fight not happening.

That was Paul Williams after he was knocked unconscious by Martinez right? I can't remember
