Chavez basically turned down a minimum of 12 Million dollars for 2 fights. He was not required even to win a round in both fights, let alone win them.

Chavez vs. GG on PPv Chavez should be making at least 5 mill and GG 2.5. That's the truth.
Seriously? Some people are siding with Chavez? TR made him, built him off his fatgers name and dealt with all his bull****. They (reportedly )you offered him $7m for the fight then another 10mteams his next fight if he won. If he lost, he would get $5m the next fight. But he wanted more money and no extension? Foh.

I bet he's asking for $10m back to back since he knows he's going to get good-boy'd.

Chavez jr has a point. against Martinez, Chavez made 3 million and Martinez got 1.5

the fight generated 25 million according to this site.

            http://www.boxingscene.com/chavez-ma...revenue--57372

even after you take out for expenses and the promotion of the fight, millions of dollars are still out there.

at least 10 million probably went to Arum I'm guessing.

Seriously? You care if TR makes money or not? Why should anyone care if Jr. signs an extension? Foh

That's right jr. Don't be a dumbass like pacquiao and Bradley. Golovkin is'nt promoted by toprank so he nor a fight between the two has nothing to do with jr's contract going forward.jr might be a lazy idoit but it looks like that he's not dumb like the midget

Chavez could have made a total of 17 mill for a one fight extension, it's not like he was selling his soul to Top Rank. Good luck making that kind of money fighting the Macklin's and Murray's of the world.

One thing..you dont know real numbers..Heck,nobody knows for sure, but for you to say top rank made him?..Bru,it wasnt a john smith, its the son of a legend, any promoter drooled on money potential..Also why are you talking like you are a top promoter that knows numbers..It is what it is,if chavez want more so be it.

I doubt GGG/Chavez would have done as much as Martinez/Chavez. Against Sergio Jr. was undefeated and had the hype machine behind him. Now he's coming off of a loss and a ****ty performance against a tough gatekeeper type of fighter.
