Chavez basically turned down a minimum of 12 Million dollars for 2 fights. He was not required even to win a round in both fights, let alone win them.

Let's think about this realisticly, GG is willing to move up in weight to fight Chavez. Who do you guys really believe is the headliner here. Chavez doesn't want to be trapped into a long term deal with Arum and if he could possibly pull a Cotto and be a free agent then this is the smartest thing he's done in his whole career. I doubt GGG/Chavez would have done as much as Martinez/Chavez. Against Sergio Jr. was undefeated and had the hype machine behind him. Now he's coming off of a loss and a ****ty performance against a tough gatekeeper type of fighter.
