Brook isn't worth fighting now but Brook will become something of a name if he beats Porter and he'll have the IBF strap so it's a worthwhile fight plus it would be huge in the UK. Two birds, one stone.

Broner is a marquee fighter with a big name. Guerrero has the rub from fighting Mayweather. They're big fights which will gather attention from the general public. Keith Thurman is a name to hardcore boxing fans only.

Boxing is about fighting the right fights, if Brook beats Porter that's a good fight for people in the UK. Broner is considered to be **** now, if Khan would have beat Broner before Maidana did then your point will be valid. The boxing public disses Guerrero now after his lost to Mayweather with all the bull**** he talked about Mayweather just to get beat convincingly. So those 2 opponents doesn't do anything for Khan.

Keith Thurman is advertised as the boogyman nobody want's to fight, and he's undefeated. So a victory over Thurman will put Khan in a position where people will apply pressure on Mayweather to fight Khan, other than that outside of beating Porter if he wins against Brook or fighting Maidana again to take advantage of the recent shine Maidana has garnered after his good performance in his fight with Mayweather. Khan needs those three victories on his record next, not all three but any one of them will be good for a Mayweather fight. Anything less than will be futile.

As for the Alexander situation. Alexander did the exact same damn thing with Kell Brook. They were actually SIGNED to fight and Alexander pulled out because Mayweather tweeted that Alexander was the frontrunner for his next opponent. Come on now, let's be fair here. If Mayweather comes calling, you drop everything.

Khan and Alexander were barely in serious negotiations. It was just a touted fight.
Lies, Alexander Vs Brook never happened because Brook suffered 2 injuries during training camp.

I have been a Khan hater for years now... But after reviewing his resume, i think he fought a decent number of known fighters like Maidana, Garcia, etc. He's been calling out bigger named fighter... Bradley, Gayweather, even Pac etc. He may be ****** or too overconfident, but at least he's got BALLS unlike any other fighters out there including Chicken Boy Floyd. He should get the respect he deserve...

Tell me why did Maidana,Guerrero,Ortiz etc. get a shot at Floyd then?? and no body really cares what you think, Khan beating Guerrero/Alexander is more credible win than Thurman.

Because Khan suffered 2 knockouts and a lost to Peterson.

Lmao Thurman hasn't beaten anybody his best win is Khan's leftover Diaz.
Btw Khan beat Diaz before Thurman and Porter.. Diaz arguably beat Porter in first fight i.e Before Khan fight but sadly no one cares to mention that.

Or is Khan measured with a different set of rules

and Porter took the Paulie fight as he wanted to get a quick defence in before a certain date, there was a cut off period, which Hern has talked about.

Khan was always scheduled to fight on Floyd under-card and Porter wasnt

To even make out Khan somehow avoided Porter is ludicrous...You really are trying hard aint u
Khan isn't being measured by a different set of rules, but when you call out the best name in boxing there is no easy route to get that fight, you have to show and prove, not fight an easy opponent for your first fight at welter weight. If Khan want's the easy route he should keep Mayweather's name out of his mouth.

All sound like they would be great fights, except for Guerrero.

I've been reading a few posts on this article - it's interesting some of the names Khan has been calling out, its one thing naming them and another thing calling them out. If Khan does face Porter/Thurman/Guerrero all respect to him but it will probably be someone with limit power. a boxer type fighter, I just don't think his team trust his chin, otherwise why did he not fight Alexander in December a fight that was almost made. Taking a fight 5 months before the Floyd fight is plenty of time especially as Alexander is no power puncher and we all saw how Porter stole show right from under Khan's feet.
