He has big power & i 'm surprised this fiasco even went down. I saw a video & all they wanted to know was about charlie & nothing else. His entourage cut in to talk about more important things but the only thing they cared about was zelenoff. Too funny but charlie is getting the attention he craves... Lol
So Deontay Wilder beat the **** out of Charlie Zelenoff

That Zelenoff guy ain't right in the head, Wilder shouldn't have done this because he could have killed him. What if he had ended up like Abdusalamov, then what? Would people still be laughing?Comment

while it's possible, it's highly unlikely. people survive much worse head trauma than a wilder punch. it's not like he hits harder than a car wreck.
abdusalamov's damage came from an accumulation of punishment over several rounds, compounded by a long amateur career.
i'm not defending what wilder did, only saying that there's a huge difference between what abdulsalamov and zelenoff had to endure.Comment

I agree. thats no way for a world ranked professional fighter to behave. dont blame wilder for being pissed as hell but take it to damn court or something. he just made himself look very unprofessional. the dude is half his size and cant fight his way up a wet paper bagComment

these are my feelings.
deontay wilder is a pretty wealthy guy at this stage. he has a manager, big time promotor, and surely has a laywer that he and his management team trust.
when a psychotic dude is threatening to kidnap your daughter, you call the police.
i've even heard that deontay's mangement wrote up a contract to release him from liablity in the fight. if the manager is involved, he should be acting like a manger and keeping his fighter's best interest at heart.
other than being very sleazy about getting publicity, this serves no purpose.Comment

I used him as an example, of course the situations were different, but do you know how many people get killed or permanently injured by single punches on a regular basis? And that's with people who are close in size most of the time. Just google "killed by a punch" and you'll get millions of results.while it's possible, it's highly unlikely. people survive much worse head trauma than a wilder punch. it's not like he hits harder than a car wreck.

Yeah I understand his anger but this wasn't necessary.Comment

Who mentioned black people? I know I didn't. It seems like you were the one who was inferring that by "****** rat" I meant black people.Comment

I am calling it now. Wilder will have his punches eaten and he will get knocked out by even a 40 year old Wlad. He would lose to Vitali, Fury, Haye, Pulev, etc. They will take his punches very well and he will be in trouble.
From his windmill style, to his hands being low from confidence, to this video, I can see Wilder will get Seth Mitchell'ed.
I don't think much of Stiverne, I think Wilder can beat him.Comment
