Now?? If memory serves me correct last year before the legal mess Ward was calling out Golovkin. Your post makes it seem like since he's tied up in litigation that all of a sudden he's looking GGGs way, that simply isn't true.

In order for this fight to happen, GGG would have to stop ducking Andre Ward.

I dont know why some people think that GGG should jump straight to 168 and fight the lineal champ straight away.

He needs a few tune up fights against decent opponents before he takes on ward imo.

I would also like to see him as the lineal chap at 160 before he moves up as well.

"You guys make these guys out to be bogeymen and monsters. We as fighters, we don't think like that. I respect (Golovkin), but I see holes in his game. ... Ask them if they want it at 168 (pounds) right now. I don't see them asking for that. I see them saying anybody from 160 to 175, but when they're pressed, I don't see him calling me out. Stop beating around the bush and get straight to it."---Andre Ward

This is the type of language that makes hype.

Neither is ducking. This fight can wait. Year or so, more $$$ signs will be involved.

A fight with Ward is an ultimate fight for GGG. It should come after GGG destroys Chavez, Kessler and Froch. If GGG goes straight to fight Ward and defeats him, it would kill the interest for all that other scalps that GGG can possibly take at 160-168 divisions. When GGG team says that they look to Ward down the line, it means just that.

Why is a CW needed for Ward but not Chavez Jr?

And why can GGG offer a fight to Chavez Jr, but Ward has to ask GGG for a fight?

The problem with ward is that he could also move up, he has already cleaned out the 168 division and wants to bring guys up (GGG) or guys down (Dawson).

There is some challeges for ward at 175 but he chooses to sit where he is.

                    It works both ways.

Because they've been wanting a Chavez fight from the beginning? He just happened to move to 168 while they were targeting him. Doesn't mean Golovkin should jump straight into not only the best in the division but one of the best of the past several years. He should have a fight at 168 first-which Chavez was-to test the waters and see how he acclimates and then adjust from there for Ward. Why is this **** so hard to understand for people.
