Damn, Froch is going to be loaded.

Imagine if he had sky sports behind him for all his world title fights before the super six final. His profile would be through the roof and we'd all be calling him 'money' as well as mayweather! ;-)

Absolutely, he didn't have any sort of TV deal for ages, incredible when you think about it.

DeGale won the first fight by a point on my card.

I want Froch to beat Groves but the prospect of Groves/DeGale rematch is something I would welcome. DeGale has a very tough fight himself though.

I said a while ago that I would fancy DeGale's style to cause Froch a lot of problems and I stand by that. I can see DeGale beating Froch on points but if Froch destroys Groves on May 31st I could change that opinion..

Once again, this is some new phenomenon in boxing or with NSB tards.

            Retrospective passes for ducking

Did Groves forsee that the Froch fight would happen and it would be the biggest rematch in history when he was running from the DeGale rematch in 2011?
I just could never like Groves and that fight was a draw or Degale by a point. Degale to me was always the superior talent who also happened to have dedication it's just that if he could get a useful trainer.

I think it's good the rematch didn't happen so far because it would be massive with a World title on the line even if it's one portion of it. Last time these guys were prospects with less than 15 fights and packed an arena for British and Commonwealth titles, so imagine with a World title? Also their rivalry is genuine from amateur days and not some twitter beef that resulted in a fight, not that there is anything bad about that.

              Degale won the first fight.

However, Degale has regressed since then while Groves has improved greatly.

                How has Degale regressed?

He won the EBU title vs Wilcewski and given you're from Scotland you'd realize it is quite prestigious. That win is just as good as Groves beating Johnson at the stage he caught him. Besides that Groves didn't do anything except ofcourse his performance vs Froch, which is only recent.

Degale was unfortunate not to get meaningful fights and now that he is with Hearn we'll see what Chunky is made of. I believe if he loses vs Gonzalez then your comment would make perfect sense.

He has regressed as a fighter IMO.

He has been extremely lazy in the ring, lays on the ropes far too much, slaps his punches and has been in more trouble than he ever should have been considering the level of opposition.

I'd like Degale to make good on the potential he had, but only time will tell.
