Has he fought better opponents? Yes. You can't bar the Froch fight, coz he has fought Froch, so has he made more money? Yes, quite a bit after Wembley I'd guess.

I know you were trying to be funny/clever, but who wins the "who signed with the better promotional outfit" battle is act is also telling, as it says alot about popularity and marketability...

I'm gonna stop that "oh ok then" thing now too if you don't mind, it's boring.
We're not comparing their careers. I'm asking why Groves ran from the rematch when it was the most lucrative fight available to him for many years.

Groves signed a better promotional deal and got gift wrapped the Froch fight without earning it.

His opposition was complete garbage before he fought Froch the first time so why couldn't he rematch DeGale again?

      Groves opponents post DeGale....

Paul Smith (DeGale absolutely undressed and embarrassed him in his hometown already)
      Francis Sierra
      90 Year old Glencoffe Johnson
      Dario Balcmaceda
      Baker Baekerat
      Noe Gonzalez

Daaaaaaayum I now see why he couldn't rematch DeGale because those SUPER FIGHTS just couldn't wait!

        Diggler talking ****e yet again...

Fact is Groves is in a very good position right now and will get 20 odd million after he whoops Froch again.

I'm talking ****e? I just listed his opposition post-DeGale aka facts.

Yet you think he stands to make £20million? So 30 odd million dollars which is what Mayweather's guarantee is....

There is absolutely no way either of these fighters are making £20m for this fight. They must mean the whole pot is 20m and Froch is getting the lions share.

20 million pot with Froch getting 85% not that I care for what they make I just wish this fight would hurry up, it couldn't come soon enough.

Good use of sarcasm there, cong**** on that

Anyway, he didn't want the rematch, he beat Degale for the second time in his life so why should he go straight in for a third... Neither of them fought top level opposition after, the fact Glen Johnson is in there (washed up or not) makes his list better than Degales... AND regardless, it all lead to the position he is in now. So if you can't see he made the right decision, then you are either Degale himself or a deluded Degale fan or Groves hater. Plus, if he beats Froch and Degale wins his next fight, the obvious fight is the rematch but for multiple world titles and a million times more exposure - so Degale should thank him if that does happen.

LOL....I swear to god, this is the only rivalry where an amateur fight counts towards the pro records.

He should have gone straight for the rematch because it was his biggest fight available. The same reason Groves used to goad Froch into an immediate rematch. Absolute hypocrisy. Froch beat Groves so why rematch? Herp derp.

Neither of them fought top opposition but only one of them wanted the rematch and it wasn't Ugly Kid.

Just because they might fight in a rematch now doesn't mean he didn't run from the rematch in the first place.

Once again, this is some new phenomenon in boxing or with NSB tards.

                      Retrospective passes for ducking

Did Groves forsee that the Froch fight would happen and it would be the biggest rematch in history when he was running from the DeGale rematch in 2011?
