George Groves will not "lose any sleep" over a rematch with James DeGale if he dethrones WBA and IBF super-middleweight world champion Carl Froch at Wembley Stadium.

DeGale will fight on the Froch-Groves undercard on May 31 after joining Groves' Matchroom Boxing stable.

Challenger Groves pledged to respect the mandatory fight calls should he claim Froch's titles at the end of the month.

Anyone else think Froch has been unusually quiet in this build up? George better not become over confident here

Groves has always been extremely confident in his ability and cool under pressure.

I think he'll go into this fight exactly the same as last time. Prepared and confident.

So why did you run from the rematch?

Lol, yeah that career decision turned out really badly for him... Bet he'll wish he'd taken that rematch as he watches Degale box on his undercard at Wembley Stadium in Britain's biggest ever boxing event

Hmm well beating DeGale again might have gotten him a bigger share of the purse against Froch instead of the 15% of whatever it is he's had to take each time.

Who did he fight instead of DeGale again?

            Oh ok then....

Hmmm well we could all just make massive and probably incorrect assumptions like that, or we could talk facts:

Since fighting each other, Groves has fought only in big events in arenas and has been involved in a certified classic domestic world title fight and is now headlining Wembley stadium in the rematch. Degale frequented Glow at Bluewater, then a sports centre in Bristol and is now lucky to be on Groves undercard at Wembley.

              Oh ok then...

What does that even mean? Has Groves fought better opponents? Has he made more money than he would have had he fought DeGale barring the Froch fights?

He ran from the rematch but he won the "who signed with the better promotional outfit" battle that everyone wanted to see.

                Oh ok then.

It means that comparing their careers is easy, and there was obviously absolutely no need for Groves to allow Degale a rematch let alone "run" from it as his career has gone onwards and upwards while Degales has gone backwards and downwards.

Has he fought better opponents? Yes. You can't bar the Froch fight, coz he has fought Froch, so has he made more money? Yes, quite a bit after Wembley I'd guess.

I know you were trying to be funny/clever, but who wins the "who signed with the better promotional outfit" battle is act is also telling, as it says alot about popularity and marketability...

I'm gonna stop that "oh ok then" thing now too if you don't mind, it's boring.

We'll probably see a rematch if Groves handles Froch
