It's about more than talent in this case, it's about the controversy that surrounds it. Froch is a big name over there and due to what happened in the first fight and after it there is big interest in the rematch. People are intrigued and want to see what will happen. It's all about entertainment.
I for one, haven't seen the first fight (I KNOW). I've only seen highlights... I just don't care too much about euroboxing. HOWEVER, you can bet I am watching the rematch on HBO because of all the trash talk.
I haven't followed Groves' career that closely just a couple fights, but if Froch is a bum what does that say about boxing? He is one of the top guys at 168 which is one of the best divisions (or was when he was gaining notoriety, idk what it is now with the inactivity at the top). You call him a bum and you cause a big domino effect.
I don't follow Euro boxing as much, but they generally have exciting/watchable fights with their fighters. Also everytime I tune into those cards where they broadcast literally every fight the crowds are active over there.
