If he would have said "yes i just beat a fighter of mexican descent" in a nice Andre Ward voice the WBC wouldn't have cared, but he didn't.

He said "I Just Beat The *** Out Of A Mexican" on Cinco de Mayo weekend and that's what pissed the WBC and everybody in the MGM off.

Well I dont think it has anything to do with race. Broner insulted a nation who was celebrating their national holiday on that very day, and did so in a vulgar classless manner. Thats what is being adressed here, imagine someone saying that during the 4th of July, i wouldn't want to imagine it either.

Not sure I can agree with this considering he said it in the united states, and not Mexico. What he said was with vulgarity though.
