"...That's what they haven't explained to him"?? !!!!! "THEY" uh... isn't Bob Arum Chavez Jr.'s promoter???? Shouldn't HE be doing the explaining instead of "THEY" .... Like a lot of people think. He does come out shady as f*k sometimes.

Another mega fight where Bob Arum is involved falls apart. This is a classic example of Arum trying to get a fighter to sign a multiple fight extension or fight for less money. When will some people learn Arum is a lying thief?!

And folks continue to defend Bob Arum on here. smh.

Chavez Jr has one fight owed to Top Rank; whether that happens next month or next year, Arum/Top Rank should've followed that deal. Now petty old Arum is going to slow walk the guy.

That's fine. Chavez will gladly take whatever patsy fight Arum can put up for him, sit at home till October 2015, and then become a free agent, at all of 29 years of age, free to speak with any promotional company willing to talk to him.

Top Rank is in the midst of a slow death, lol.

Yah GGG should pounce on Quillin whom after his fight last weekend said he would fight GGG or any of the other top names next. I think it was all posturing for the camera/fans but if I were GGG i would call his Bluff. Quillin would get the chocolate beat off him by GGG.

Arum just salty that Chavez wouldn't sign a contract extension with him... Chavez has stuck to his guns and isn't going to resign, so arum gonna be a baby and put him on the shelf..
All it does is hurt top rank, because it seems Chavez is perfectly content to wait it out and sign with haymon, and then arum will be hurting..
Over the next 16 months he has manny, jmm, Chavez all possibly leaving or retiring and there is no young cash cows for top rank.. Even mikey Garcia trying to break free..

In two years the top rank stable will be Bradley, abregu, Jessie Vargas...

Hate to say it, but I think top ranks days of being a premier promoter are done.. I think they are headed to the goosen, main event, level of promotions..

                      WTF???

Arum is going too far, this guy is really going to put Chavez on the shelf for over a year because he won't sign an extension? This is why Bob Arum needs to retire or just go about his business outside the sport of boxing. This guy kills fights when he does not get his way and will use slimy tactics to slander someone. Like his famous words say " I was lying yesterday, but today I'm telling the truth".. Obviously you idiots are still blinded like a deer looking at headlights.
