No doubt. I understand why people were getting frustrated with that because of his first few title fights. But those people should be won over by now by Canelo personally. Yeah, he caught a few breaks for a title but he's stepped up big time in the past year. He's for real.

That was my main knock on Canelo...He won a BS title at 20 and shouldn't have been giving guys like Hatton, Rhodes, and Cintron title shots. Don't get me wrong, those guys were decent fringe contenders for a 20-22 year old to fight...but no way in hell should those have been title fights.

Since then though, he's stepped up his competition and has been willing to fight the best. Trout, Floyd, and Lara are/were great fights for him to prove himself... Signing up to fight Paul Williams was also another bold move by him, that unfortunately didn't work out

I don't see Lara taking Canelo body shots which is going to slow Lara down ,possible a KO.
Lara is no Mayweather ,he's going to get hit this fight.

This is Canelo following in the footsteps of Oscar. Fighting the best guys out there. He may not win but you can't argue the kids guts. He has the name to make more money fighting easier fights than this.
