Leonard would decision him, Hearns would leave him on the canvas. Floyd is #1 in this era, but Hearns, Leonard, and Haggler were truly something else.

SRL takes it , Floyd never used his skills on someone of SRL 's caliber. He would be to big, to strong, to fast for Floyd.

After floyd beats canelo - 'i dont know, would be a good fight, floyd is an atg too, UD either side, floyds defence too good'.

After a hard time with Maidana - 'mayweather would get ko'd cold, he aint good enough, he isnt in my top 10 p4p, mayweather who?'

To be honest I got to go with Floyd. I think Floyd's ability to stand in front of a person and slip punches would be key in this fight. I think Leonard would be on his toes and Floyd would be the stalker. With Floyd's ability to cut the ring off and slip Leonard's punches gives him the slight edge IMO.

Had this discussion many times but I think Leonard is all wrong for Floyd.

Bigger, faster, highly skilled, throws a load of combinations, get's in and out, hard to time, very good jab.

I think Floyd's see's the final bell but loses a wide decision.

Maidana used Floyd as a punch bag for 6 rounds before getting a little tired (even hitting a heavy bag that don't punch back will tire you eventually) and allowing Floyd to nearly claw his way back.

But SRL wouldn't tire after pummelling Floyd for the first 6th rounds. Hed continue to do it for the next 4 rounds as well. Floyd figuring SRL out and winning the last two rounds. Floyd is known for figuring his opponents out, but really it is his opponents tiring from using Floyd as that punch bag.

Even though SRL was used to 15 rounds, he would get tired after 10 rounds and get bored.
