If Froch keeps his hands up and cuts the ring off he should KO Groves

Froch can't win the rematch if he stays on the outside and fights Groves mid-range, he doesn't have the reflexes or the speed to keep the spring chicken Groves off of him.

He needs to keep his hands high, utilise lateral movement and cut the ring off and get Groves on the ropes, every time Froch landed Groves looked vulnerable, Groves has crisper punches, and is more skilled, but he's not anywhere near as durable as Carl Froch, Froch's chin is ridiculous and Groves is chinny.

But as they say, a tiger can't change it's stripes, and I think the fight will likely play out similar to the first one, which is why I'm bemused that the oddsmakers have Froch as the favourite, I might place a bet on this one.

Feel free to add your thoughts.

Groves is younger and technically superior. As long as he improves his conditioning, i can see a wide UD for him or even a stoppage. Froch has felt his power and will be hesitant to square up and charge in, like he did vs Bute.

You make a valid point but I think Froch could be a bit shop worn, I'm picking Groves in the rematch.

I don't even think the first fight should've been stopped, sure Groves was hurt but I think he could've recovered. A bit of a premature stoppage IMO

          The key word is IF

Froch has bravado issues, and he's going to be the same Froch you've come to expect. In his mind, he won the first fight, so there's no need to change anything. He's going to stubbornly stick to his usual fight pattern and Groves is going to land the very same shots landed in the first fight, only this time with much more gusto.

          Groves gets the win .......

I can't wait for this match, it is my most anticipated in 2014 !

I expect a dominant win for Groves, he is simply better than Froch, what kept Froch alive in the first fight was his granite chin, Referee robbed Groves

The only thing that can win this fight for Froch is Groves' lack of stamina, and possibly his chin. In every other department pretty much, Groves is superior.

With that being said, I'm nervous about the outcome of this fight as a Groves fan.

Groves doesn't have the gas tank, durability or experience needed which was displayed the very minute Froch started landing clean.

Expecting Froch with a late stoppage, probably similar to the first fight only with a non controversial ending this time.

froch will win this, I really do want groves to win but he is a 10 round fighter, he has serious stamina issues, on top of that he has an ego like khan used to have, he gets careless and will get knocked out imo

Groves is getting KOd again. Too inexperienced and gets sloppy when he runs out of gas. Froch's going to outwork him and get a legit knock out with no controversy. Froch ko 8
