Canelo hit Floyd with some fouls, a low blow, a thigh shot, ignored touching gloves, etc. He wanted to DEFEAT Floyd. There was no respect.

Maidana has complimented Floyd and disrespected Floyd at the same time. You guys are so drunk off Maidana juice, that you're putting Maidana on a sky high pedestal. If you think Maidana doesn't 'admire' Floyd at least a little bit, it's you that's the gullible one. Maidana complimented Floyd before the fight. And Floyd complimented Maidana, even on All-Access. One of the members of his team tried to call Maidana a 'p*ssy' and Floyd stopped him and said no no no, he's a tough fighter.

Some argue that the headbutt towards Broner wasn't intentional either. Either way, Broner was rolling on the floor acting, and Floyd was not after a headbutt. You are the one that tried to equate Broner and Floyd, when they are two totally different classes of fighters. mayweather punches didn't even make a dent. maidana had effective aggression and consistently squared off on mayweather battering him on the ropes each and every round. mayweather is only able to throw counters from midrange, take that away and he looks amateur, won't even return fire when pushed to the ropes. he flinched at maidana's every feint. maidana won the fight.

Surely Maidana isn't talking about the blue gloves he wanted to wear. From my understanding they were not approved by the commission. Why is he complaining anyway? He is the B side. When Floyd fought Oscar, he did not complain about the kind of gloves DLH made him wear, not to mention the altered ring he had to fight in. Maidana is being an ingrate. Floyd could have easily fought Khan and told Maidana to kick rocks.

No real point in even discussing this since we are all likely to see it again in september and that's fine. Hopefully they can sort out the intangibles early on enough so it doesn't hinder a fight. It was a great fight, still has people talking why wouldn't or shouldn't they do it again?
