I stand corrected, it seems like his 118 days were not important. It looks like he was a 135 pounder in no time and only fought journeymen in those weight classes(below 135). It appears that his first ever meaningful fight was Ken Buchanan at 135. His fights below 135 look more like Canelo's "run" at 147, nothing meaningful and 154 being his first actual step up weight class.

      • His opinion isn't shocking. He more than likely saw Leonard in Mayweather, and himself in Maidana.

WAR MAIDANAAA BABYYY!!! I still watch the fight and it's just incredible to see everybody going crazy for Maidana and celebrating his victory after the fight. Memorable night, we ****ing did it!!!!!!!!!!

LOL! No fkin way.. Prime Duran murders Floyd. Floyd has enough trouble with a b-class fighter in Maidana.

118 and 126 yeah but he beat Marcel at 130 and Kobayashi before he fought Buchanan.

              Both definitely meaningful fights.

Did what? Lose and become number 46 on the list? This is the same dude that quit in the middle of a fight. People give Ortiz shyt for quitting... But this dude was getting his ass whipped so bad he said "No mas" now am I lying?

                  46-0 and still undefeated

                    • Duran hates black fighters ,which is obvious since most of his losses are from black opponents ,I can see his opinion.
