He's not saying there's literally no money in it. A Rigo fight would probably be the biggest payday of his career compared to everyone he's fought. Probably not by a lot, but still more. I don't think anyone considers Quigg a champion, even his fans. Rigo brings a couple of titles, the lineal championship, and the elite credibility everyone needs to be a super star. At this point in his career, Rigo does bring something to the table for a guy like Quigg. And not just for this particular fight, but it would pay off for future fights. Beating Rigo will get him Showtime or HBO dates more easily and for more money.

What Hearn is saying is that there's not enough money for the risk. The chances of him losing are too high for what's he getting, which applies even if he's getting more than he has in the past. Obviously anyone would fight anyone if a fortune was involved just like anyone would fight Mayweather even if it's obviously there's no chance of winning. But that' a cheap cop out because Mayweathers are rare.

If you have no interest in fighting the true lineal champion of your division, that's some pussy shit. There's no other way to cut it. We're not talking about some high risk random contender here. We're talking the mother****ing champion. I'd get it if more build up was needed, but Rigo is as famous as he's going to get. He's as proven as he'll get. There's no other time to do it unless you're afraid of losing.

For one, there's network contract issues between Frampton and Quigg. There's travel issues between Quigg and Leo Santa Cruz. Kiko Martinez is the most likely, but everyone wants a piece of Kiko.

Eitherway, from those comments that have been quoted, it's pretty freaken obvious everyone in Quigg's team think he would lose to Rigo. Lets cut the bullshit.

Anyway, Frampton-Kiko's a good fight again. First one was competitive before the KO and Kiko's confidence is through the roof right now.

I'm a fan of Frampton but I kind of want Kiko to win solely because I want Kiko to fight Rigondeaux to see how he deals with a rough pressure fighter with power.
