If LSC wants to unify I'm cool with that.Frampton should face Quigg beforehand if Leo is declaring his intentions to delay and face Quigg himself.there is no hiding from Frampton once he destroys Quigg.

He just fought his mandatory in Mijares, so he's entitled to a voluntary defence for his next fight. Frampton, realistically, wouldn't get that fight until next year.

Stevenson is still willing to fight Kovalev even now, should HBO make him a good offer.

Scott Quigg's people on the other hand are on record saying that he is not ready for Rigondeaux. That he's a year away.

      See the difference?

Cheers, for clearing that up.Quigg is the no brainier if Hearn is serious then.that said i would be extremely reluctant to involve myself on a Hearn card,if it could be avoided.

Eddie Hearn has said there's no money in the Rigo fight, not that he's "not ready".

Oh believe me, I see what the real difference is. You aren't difficult to suss, ShoulderTroll.

Eddie Hearn on on a possible Rigo-Quigg fight:
"It's not a fight that's even under consideration. People ask me why Scott Quigg vs Rigo doesn't happen. Because he's too good."

Yeh he is by far and away the best in the world and there's no money in the fight. If Quigg was being well compensated, he'd take the fight. There's no fear involved and that's the case for most situations in boxing.

                This needs to happen.

One of the biggest fights domestically.

Only two bigger are Khan-Brook or Fury-Haye.

He's not saying there's literally no money in it. A Rigo fight would probably be the biggest payday of his career compared to everyone he's fought. Probably not by a lot, but still more. I don't think anyone considers Quigg a champion, even his fans. Rigo brings a couple of titles, the lineal championship, and the elite credibility everyone needs to be a super star. At this point in his career, Rigo does bring something to the table for a guy like Quigg. And not just for this particular fight, but it would pay off for future fights. Beating Rigo will get him Showtime or HBO dates more easily and for more money.

What Hearn is saying is that there's not enough money for the risk. The chances of him losing are too high for what's he getting, which applies even if he's getting more than he has in the past. Obviously anyone would fight anyone if a fortune was involved just like anyone would fight Mayweather even if it's obviously there's no chance of winning. But that' a cheap cop out because Mayweathers are rare.

If you have no interest in fighting the true lineal champion of your division, that's some pussy shit. There's no other way to cut it. We're not talking about some high risk random contender here. We're talking the mother****ing champion. I'd get it if more build up was needed, but Rigo is as famous as he's going to get. He's as proven as he'll get. There's no other time to do it unless you're afraid of losing.

Obviously, I won't blame him if he chooses a bigger money fight over Rigo, but there aren't many of those.

Scott Quigg's trainer Joe Gallagher comments on Rigo:

"Listen, we've already spoken to [Rigondeaux's manager] Gary Hyde about it," said Gallagher. It's all about the right timing, a year from now it is the fight to make.
Rigondeaux's boxed at the top-level as an amateur. Scott didn't have that long amateur career, but we'll bring him through over the next few fights so that he can take on Rigondeaux. You saw what Rigondeaux did to [Nonito] Donaire, but we've talked about it and most probably this time next year it could happen.

That's pretty clear as day. They don't think he's good enough.
