A good fight now that would make sense for them both, would be Khan /Maidana 2 .After Maidana's better than expected Mayweather tussle and his win over Broner .Khan were he to win would be taken more seriously and wouldn't have to bore people any more re- his win over a hand picked opponent, be it a decent start at welter!....prospective here pls. !

i wonder how gbp will manage to protect him from getting stopped in his next fight since he isn't fighting floyd in september. he needs to stay active this time around, and he also needs to beat a name, but who??? Mayweather gets to pick his own opponents. So beating dangerous guys and looking good doing it might not be a great idea for Khan right now.

Since when did beating Porter or Thurman become a pre-requisite for fighting Floyd? There's a case for Porter as he has a belt but Thurman, despite having potential, hasn't really beat anyone.

Besides, Khan is more of a defensive fighter under Virgil Hunter. Collazo was just desperately trying to get Khan into an in-fight brawl, but Khan didn't fall for it... And yet he still floored Collazo three times.
