I agree. If Sergio's leg operation has mostly healed, then I believe our buddy Cotto is in some real trouble.

I just don't want to see Cotto get "Nuked" by Sergio.

Yeah...that's what I call getting "Nuked". And...Sergio simultaneously came within 3 inches of getting "Nuked" by Williams.

        Gawd....that was epic!

You really think so? For all his underwear modeling crap and fancy looks one thing you can say about Sergio is that he can brawl, even against big guys like Chavez Jr. right after getting KD. A smaller guy like Cotto, I just dont see it happening. Unless he's crippled, Sergio levels Cotto.

Martinez is the bigger and stronger man, if Cotto comes forward trying to put pressure on him he might get KO'ed. Cotto needs to box and counter to win this. It would be the first time that I see the smaller and weaker man pursuing the stronger one.

What I have seen from most fighters when they start talking about knocking an opponents out is it is typically total BS. That said Martinez has been talking about this from day one. Considering he is not a KO artist as some people might want to paint him incorrectly this seems to be a very poor strategy. Martinez better be able to be Martinez on fight night, that means fast lateral movement, lots of energy and throwing lots of fast punches from weird angles. If he comes out and tries to slug with Cotto and not move or use the ropes he is going to be the guy getting beat up bad and stopped. Also, look at the quality of their opponents and tell me there isn't a very big advantage for Cotto? Why there just isnt as much talent at 160 for Martinez recently. I do give Martinez a slight edge only because of his size but it just depends on how each fighters skills and abilities play out against each other over the first few rounds.

all he has to do is throw punches while coming forward, nothing special to it, he's massive and hits hard
