Even with your ideas been true, is not a promoter the one who must blame the fighter. Of course Rigo has to do several things, but the promoter is not the one who has to blame him in public. This is precisely what the manager is saying.

With Haymon its confusing. He draws the line between manager/adviser/promoter. All I was saying was Lara still has DeCubas Jr. and Haymon, Peterson still has Barry Hunter/Haymon, Maidana has Contursi/Haymon as do a lot of other fighters.

With Rigo he would have Hyde and Haymon handle his business.
        I get you.

The reason I said what I said was cause Rigo and Hyde hit me as the stingy kind. I mean, I doubt anyone likes giving their money away but these two just hit me that way.

I really think that having Rigo shadow Floyd everywhere as his new BFF makes perfect sense . . . think about the possibilities
What if Schaefer in fact leaves GBP? Mayweather said his dealings with GBP would end as well, Rigo would stay in a limbo because Mayweather can not provide those fights as of now.....but I certantly love to see more of Rigo and become more relevant in boxing so he can turn round and robbed all off on scum Arum. That would be the ultimate pay back.

A guy like Rigo should've and could've been doing them univision and telemundo boxing commentary for ages to expand his exposure to the latin fight fans. I really wish he'd put himself out there more.
I said the same thing a while back here and got Red K'd by a bunch of people calling me a hater. Rigo needs to understand that professional boxing isn't like amateur international tournaments where all you have to do is win. In professional boxing you have to sell and put butts in seats.
Rigo should be on Telemundo, Televisa, Golpe a Golpe and all other spanish channels that promote boxing.

He should also be willing to take any fight that comes his way. Activity is better than inactivity.

Good move, better fights @ GBP.

Damn, Top Rank is going to be hurting. They're taking big hits.

Rigo is a tough sell to the casuals, though.

                  Rigo-Mares/LSC would be good.

How hard would it be to make him marketable if he became Floyd's BFF under TMT? And they start showing up at all the major media events like Floyd likes to do? He wouldn't even have to learn English if Floyd would only act as his promoter and do faux interpretations/translations for him while Rigo plays his part ya know? If Floyd says that Rigo is the 2nd coming then casual fans will take notice and accept it as gospel.

Al Haymon is the guy rigo needs to hire for so many reasons : rigondeaux is a master boxer who I believe is better than even Floyd is when it comes to defense and and counter attack and Haymon needs in his hand a guy like rigo since Floyd is about to retire , and who that master would be to occupy Floyd's place ? Rigo is .
Haymon has done a great job with Lara and rigo is a lot better than him .
Haymon can promote rigo in the American public , here in miami and evry place as the best boxer ever after Floyd retires , he surely is .
All that rigo needs is promotion cause he will beat evrybody at 122 .
Whoever knows boxing , will always have a time to watch him fight as this is a real master at what boxing is all about .
Some information : rigos contract with caribe promotion ends by December .....
Rigos conctract with Gary Hyde ends in January 2015 ....
Guillermo " hit and not get hit " rigondeaux is set to start all over again .
