lets see, he doesnt speak english, stinks out the joint 90% of the time, is unwilling to go to 126, and cant sell out the first 2 rows of an Elks Lodge. Yep, I'm sure all the other promoters will be throwing BIG BIG dollars his way lol

someone tell Rigo how big of a jackpot payday Chino got vs Floyd
Tell him what his counterparts in the weight class made for career high paydays.

If he can fight them, I say go ahead and go....but no real guarantee he fights them... has a decent chance at getting with Mares now that he lost

Yet Golden Boy is still giving Lara the Canelo PPV fight.

Rigo would be foolish to complain about money if Golden Boy signs him given his current situation with Arum/Top Rank.

Who else is he gonna fight there on PPV? Canelo seems content on fighting on PPV three times this year.

And Schaeffer was the one who said that it's hard to promote Lara

Of course there is no guarantee he will get to fight the likes of LSC and Mares if he signs with GBP, but it's still his best chance.

Or he could go over to England where the BW/SBW divisions are pretty hot now. Why not try his luck there?

Over the pond, they already said they're nowhere near ready....not even an option.

I don't know how long he'll stay at 122, but seems fine. Maybe try his luck with a neutral in Dibella and use his working relationship to fight Kiko

Hearn did say that Quigg is not ready, but if he might change his stance if he can keep the fight "in house".

DiBella may be a good choice. He still promotes Sergio, right? And Kiko is Sergio's fighter, so that might work.

If he signed with TMT he could just shadow Floyd and play the silent role as Floyd introduces him and hypes him to the mainstream media . . . they could become like a curiosity for a while as they wear complimentary outfits with Rigo saying crazy stuff in Spanish then Floyd doing faux translations/interpretations at various social events. It would certainly gain him attention were he to become Floyd's new BFF and the fights with Showtime PPV would have more spark to them under TMT and money shouldn't be an issue because with Floyd in his corner all the big fights should be willing to sign on the dotted line for that Showtime $$$.

Why not? you swore right here, that Canelo would never give lara the oportunity and you see you were dead wrong, Santa Cruz althoug reluctant he said: "if the fans demand the fight I'll fight him" anything is better than his current situation with TR. TMT has a very small stable, (and no one on Rigondeaux's weight) same thing with Gosen and D'Bella, so the best option still is GBP.

I hope he makes the best career move at this point in time he needs to stay busy because being 33 is not young any more.

Rigo should take the great Luis DeCubas Jr. as manager.
