Comments Thread For: Manager: Rigondeaux is Open to All Promotional Offers

The scheduled July 19 fight between 122-pound champion Guillermo Rigondeaux and undefeated prospect Jonathan Guzman will be Rigondeaux’s final fight under his current contract with Top Rank — and manager Gary Hyde wrote on Twitter Sunday morning that they are open to all offers from promoters.

Anything is better than what he has been getting with Arum. Let's hope his monetary demands are not unreasonable and he can fight more than once a year. Age wise he is window for staying elite is closing.

Golden Boy would be the ideal choice IMO.

Imagine Rigo signing with TMT or Golden Boy... Would make for some interesting "All Access"

You would think so but what makes you think GB would feed those guys to Rigo? And remember fighters like Santa Cruz are signed to Haymon.

Good news. Not sure GBP is the best move but it's definitely better than his current situation. He's got some potential opposition overseas, and I'm not sure what GBP's track record is in the eastern hemisphere
