I watched the fight again a second time and still had Mayweather winning the fight, I thought Maidana did much better than expected and gained a lot of peoples respect and made a competitive fight, but Mayweather still won the majority of rounds IMO.

There was something wrong with Mayweather that night though, he just didn't look the same, when I first watched it I was thinking he just didn't want it, I thought he just wanted his payday and go home. Maybe I'm wrong though, maybe hes aging, or the fact that Maidana had no respect for him and was willing to be in his face all night through him off.

I don't really care for a rematch that much to be honest, but it looks like that's what the fans will demand next.
Fan's Demands Mean Nothing to Our Hero,
and I don't think he wants to fight, Chino again,

and I'll be Suprised to see Him Fighting, in Sept....
After the Beating Marcos, put on his A$$!!!

Floyd will win the rematch 118-110. The chance has gone.

You're right. It will be different.

Maidana will beat you more convincingly.

Floyd will be fighting after 6 months. Something he is not very accustomed to doing. Not only that but its 6 months after a very physical fight. And not to mention Mayweather will be older.

That's why we shouldn't read too much into Floyd's performance against Maidana. Floyd looked the same way he looked against Cotto and Canelo when he was in the center of the ring, he just couldn't hurt Maidana the way he wanted to, and the jab to the body wasn't effective enough to slowed Maidana down, but when Floyd did landed a long right hook to the body, it did bothered Maidana.

When Floyd is fighting southpaws, he's in a better position to hurt them more because he gets to use his power hand more and just use his left hand as a touch-jab/range-finder to set up the right hand, but he use his power hand(right) to jab to the body and throw the lead straight right hand . Maidana just bullied Floyd on the ropes, but Floyd was in control in the center of the ring as usual. I'd say this though, he shouldn't fight Shawn Porter.

I didn't watch this fight but it appears to me that Floyd is trying to prove something to people that he can **** with others. When he fought Cotto and Canelo he stood right in front of them and traded with them. Don't know if that was the same with Maidana. But if he just gets back to being Floyd and do what he does best, I think he embarrasses anyone. That is if age finally has not caught up to him.

                      Floyd

I think it was a little bit Maidana and a little bit Father time...I think May was right about what he saw in Pac....and I think we saw a little slippage in May...He is a great fighter but none of us can escape the clock...Would love to see him fight Pac for number 50 and finish 50 - 0.
