He is far more relentless than Maidana and the scariest part is he only gets stronger and more relentless.
As a boxing fan why wouldn't anybody want this fight after their latest fights? Their styles & with Floyds decline, it would be fireworks.
Floyds legs have gone and his reflexes have slowed drastically.

Maidana was doubling & tripling up his left hook & was hitting Floyd because all that mittwork is, is a sequence. He is used to 1-2s, 1-2-3s and basic stuff coming at him like an Oscar or a more textbook fighter would throw.
Cotto showed this & turned the fight around by tripling up his jab.
Maidana showed it effective against Broner. Once the left has been shot, you're bracing for the right hand usually & not another left hook.
These crude guys can do it off balance, a guy like Lucas doesn't need to be in position or have his feet set, he don't have to hit you clean either to hurt you or take your head off. Hes just got raw power, hands like a bag of cement.
I don't want to see a Maidana rematch, props to Maidana he did a lot better than I expected at least but a rematch is a different story.
