Leonard, Hearns and Duran ALL went up to fight Marvin Hagler in his prime. See if Floyd will go up and fight Gennady at 160. Why is that a stretch??? Leonard, Hearns and Duran never gave it a second thought. IN FACT, Leonard came off a 5 year retirement, NO tune up fight, to challenge Hagler. We saw how well Floyd managed Maidana... I'd love to see him manage Gennady. LOL!

Leonard stepped up 5 divisions and so has floyd and both won world titles so if he steps up to fight ggg does that make him better ?

Alright, so he nearly beat the greatest boxer in the world which means...Devon Alexander would be a piece of cake now, right? I'd love to see Maidana fight Porter, Thurman, Alexander, and even Khan again to convince me Maidana's performance against Floyd wasn't a matter of Floyd taking him lightly.

A fighter like Maidana at lightheavy would be a nightmare for Hopkins! But there is no fighter at 175 with the style of Maidana.

Hopkins would beat the **** outta a style like that...BHop knows how to tame bulls....Floyd outboxes and out smarts them...Hopkins check their asses and let 'em know they gonna fight at HIS pace

Leonard actually waiting all that time until hagler looked shopworn and beatable. Then he ran up his promoter and said "I think I can beat him now". Could have been a different fight with hagler in his prime.

But in reality, Mayweather's stock dropped dramatically. It's all relative.

Floyd didnt take Maidana lightly... in fact, floyd took him very seriously and made sure maidana wore pillow gloves.

Floyd knew his reflex was slowing. This probably occurred during private sparring. Hence the fuss with the gloves.
