He's crazy! If anything maybe he lost against the first Castillo fight. Oscar should have 8 or nine losses. Whitaker beat him, Quartey beat him, and Sturm beat him.

People want to see/think Floyd lost so bad they disregard the fact Maidana did close to little to nothing after round 6 that was effective and was a punching bag from rounds 9-11 which were the only CLEAR rounds won by either fighter last niight.. dream on folks.

It looks like the blue print to beating Mayweather is do better than expected. It's the same excuse the judges used to give Bradley the win against Pacquiao. They thought Pacquiao wasn't busting up Bradley like he was everyone else so that must mean Braddley won right? In this case, Mayweather didn't dominate Maidana starting around the 3rd round so that has to mean he lost.
Mayweather owned the last half of the fight, even hurting Maidana to the body a few times slowing him down considerably. If you count the constant slaps to Mayweather's back in the beginning of the fight as clean effective shots then I can see you saying Maidana had the better first half of the fight but you can imagine in those rounds, especially the close rounds the Champion would get the benefit of the doubt. This wasn't a robbery, it's the best excuse for the fans to give Mayweather another imaginary loss.

The only semi-legitimate argument that can be made on behalf of Chino winning last night is if you base your scoring on having knowledge of both fighters and what they're trying to get done. Chino got what he wanted to get done more than Floyd got done what he wanted to get done. So if that's how you score, your card will be close. But if you score a fight properly based on clean effective punching, effective aggression, defense, and ring generalship. I just don't see how a competent, objective person could have Chino winning more than 3-4 rounds. Five max.

No it's not a blue print just because hating ass Oscar says so. Now if Paulie malignaggi would have had maidana winning maybe i would take it seriously.
