Well your mates are probably diehard boxing fans,so yeah your going to know who Joe Calzaghe is if your into boxing no matter what country your from. I think JuyJuy was referring to the general public. Ask your mum who Joe Calzaghe is,see what she says. You dont even have to ask your mum who Frank Bruno or Chris Eubank are, because you know that she loves them.

I remember on a question of sport nobody knew who Calzaghe was and they all took the piss out of him you'll remember and Calzaghe looked humiliated.

Im sorry but its rare to find a general sports fan in this country who actually likes boxing these days, general sports fans do not know Joe Calzaghe in England. In Wales yes.

**** where I live people could give a **** less about Williams/Skelton as should most boxing fans who cares about a insignifigant HW fight neither of them will be champ when you have what could be one of the greatest fights of all-time.

I have to say,I didnt know there was much interest in Williams and Skelton. Maybe only the guys JuyJuy says hes talking to,but nobody I know is interested in the Williams and Skelton fight. People will only tune in to see Amir Khan,Id say hes the biggest sports star in Britain right now. Khan is far more well known than Ricky Hatton outside of Manchester, thats quite sad really seeing as Khan is a novice, whereas Hatton has just beaten Kosta Zoo.

I'm not trying to discredit this fight, I'm just telling you the truth of the matter. This fight is tiny outside of the US because there are two tiny names fighting, it's only big in the US because America wants another Tyson. But look what happened to Samuel Peter.. he was supposed to be the next Tyson. Now Lacy is supposed to be the next Tyson (at age 28). FFS just accept it - there will never be another Tyson.

im lookin forward to this ****, i think Lacy will beat him on the body attack. JC having to diet and strip weight more than ever, & he thought Mitchells body shots hurt him ? i say, fight stopped on three knockdown rule, 2nd round.

the fights not big & probably wont expose JC or Lacy to the brit public cos its on at 2am lol. looks like JCs career is over before it really began in a way

It clashes with Wales vs England in Rugby I think? And Showtime only had one slot in February which clashed with Rugby (Wales vs New Zealand?) and the March 4th slot, they only had two slots and they both clashed with the Rugby.
